Women and Guilt

I am a woman, shall i be guilty?
I gave you birth, is that why i am filthy?
I understood you, when you had no words,
I supported you when you had certain urge,
But today you made me realize that womanhood is a curse.
You called me your partner,
And described me as a faultier,
When i was about to birth your princess,
You asked to pass that hilarious pact,
‘Abortion’ you said, “Take it easy to act”.
Today you call her your princess,
And thank me to act intact,
When she kisses your forehead you feel blessed,
Her every birthday for you is today a fest,
For her every desire to always stand erect.
But when she introduces her beloved to you,
You breaks her heart in a second or two,
All your love now makes you feel ashamed,
And all of a sudden as a culprit i am claimed,
Once again you break my trust and my family’s chain.
But i am a woman, i shall be guilty,
Though it was your sperm, yet i am blameworthy,
I becomes a bad mother because i wasn’t a watchdog,
And you a perfect father with your clan at the top,
Open up your eyes and look around,
Its your daughter, your princess, once you crowned.
I beg your pardon, once again you are mistaken,
And again you are walking on the road not taken….
